Having trouble logging into your ReachLink account? Here are the most common login problems and how to resolve them quickly.

Before You Start

ReachLink uses passwordless login, and the primary method of logging in is with your phone number.
You can log in using:
  • Phone number → SMS verification code (primary)
  • Email verification code (backup/alternative)
We strongly recommend verifying your email so you always have a secondary way to log in if SMS codes fail.

Common Login Issues & Solutions

1. “I’m trying to log in, but the system tells me to create an account.”

This usually happens when:
  • You entered a phone number that isn’t tied to an existing account
  • You originally registered using a different phone number or email
  • Your registration was never fully completed
Try this:
  1. Make sure you are using the same phone number you used when you first signed up
  1. If you’re unsure which number you used, check where you previously received ReachLink notifications
  1. If you truly never created an account, follow the prompts to create one

2. “I'm trying to create an account, but it says I already have one.”

This means an account already exists under your phone number or email.
Solution:
  • Go back to the login screen
  • Select “Log In”
  • Enter your phone number
  • Request an SMS code
  • Log in instead of creating a new account
If you recently booked through a partner platform (ZocDoc, ComPsych), your ReachLink account may already exist even if you haven’t logged in before.

Two-Factor Authentication (Verification Code) Issues

3. “I didn’t receive my SMS login code.”

This is the most common login issue.
Try these steps:
  1. Wait a few minutes — carriers can delay SMS delivery
  1. Request one additional code
  1. If SMS still doesn’t arrive, choose “Send code by email instead”
  1. Check your email inbox (including spam/junk)
Tip: Requesting codes too quickly can slow down delivery.

4. “My email login code hasn’t arrived.”

Email is your secondary login method.
Try:
  • Refreshing your inbox
  • Checking spam/junk/promotions folders
  • Waiting 1–2 minutes and requesting the code again
If it still doesn’t arrive, contact support.

Urgent vs. Non-Urgent Login Problems

Urgent (Call Support Immediately)

If you have a session scheduled today and cannot log in, this is urgent and we want to assist right away.

  • Always use your primary phone number for login

  • Try email login if SMS is delayed
  • Avoid multiple rapid code requests
