How often you can have sessions depends on your coverage. Before you book more than one session in a week, or two sessions on the same day, check with Care Coordination. They'll confirm what your plan allows.

Why it depends on your coverage

  • EAP (Employee Assistance Program): your employer's program gives you a set number of sessions and a date by which to use them.
  • Insurance: your health plan decides how often sessions are covered.
  • Self-pay: Care Coordination can tell you what's available.
Because every plan is different, Care Coordination is the right team to answer this. Your provider can't confirm it for you.

Common questions

Can I have more than one session a week?

It may be possible. Contact Care Coordination first to check that your coverage allows it.

Can I have two sessions on the same day?

For example, an individual session with one provider and a couples session with another. Contact Care Coordination to check before you book.

How many sessions do I have left?

If you use EAP benefits, Care Coordination can tell you how many sessions you have left and when they need to be used by.

How to check

  1. Contact Care Coordination.
  1. Tell them what you'd like to book, for example "two sessions this week" or "an individual and a couples session on the same day."
  1. Once they confirm, book your sessions in the ReachLink app or on the website as usual.
