Talk to AI (Call Mode)
This feature let you speak directly with Carebot in a real-time, voice-based interaction. This simulates a compassionate phone conversation, designed if you prefer auditory journaling.
Talking with Carebot
When in Call Mode, Carebot begins with a warm, supportive greeting such as:
βHi Annie! What would you like to talk about? Iβm here to listen.β
Carebot reply naturally β just like a call. The animated voice waveform confirms that the microphone is active and Carebot is listening.
Voice & Tone Personalization
You can access Carebot Settings (βοΈ icon on the top right) to personalize the journaling experience.
Choose a Voice
Select from multiple OpenAI-provided voices such as:
- Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova, Shimmer
Choose a Tone
Carebot can also adapt its tone to match your emotional needs.
Tone options include:
- Gentle β calm and empathetic
- Uplifting β encouraging and positive
- Honest β realistic and direct
- Calm β soothing and neutral
- Playful β lighthearted and friendly
- Analytical β thoughtful and structured
Ending the Session
When the conversation feels complete, you can tap βFinish entryβto end the voice journaling session. The app saves both the transcript and Carebotβs responses in the Journal History, ensuring everything remains accessible for later reflection.
